周忠生，中国影响力文化人物、中华文化传承大使、中央电视台客座教授、中华文化发展委员会副主席、世界非物质文化遗产研究院副院长。
周忠生受父亲影响，从小学书亘雕塑，读大学时逢文革，在中央美院老师指导下参与毛主席巨型塑像三年，毕业后负责组织制作的仿真机器人获省一等奖，他后获市奖杯和市雕塑专家证。他的书画在多位名师教授指导下勤奋学习、努力创作、成果丰硕。周主研工笔画、书法、兼攻花鳥 山水写意，擅长画老虎 金絲猴；书写毛体 瘦金体，作品多次赴京 及在多省市展览。周忠生书画作品被美国做成个人邮册当美国名片发行，他的业绩被收入《世界名人录》《世界优秀专家人才名典》，被聘为名誉主编。
2015、2019年他被全国人大、全国政协两会授于“人民艺术家”称号。书画被选入中国文联主编的《盛世中国美术家大典》，入编建党百年的邮册《百年百家》中。书画作品被作成《中国艺术外交珍藏版国礼金书》，此金书为国家级非物质文化遗产，他也成为全国非物质文化遗产项目传承人。
2022年周忠生被授于《中国功勋艺术家》《人民书画家》《国际艺术名家》荣誉称号，商业文化杂志社出版《中国影响力文化人物》，周忠生为其中五人之一。
2023年被授于《中国国礼艺术大师》，被中央电视台聘为客座教授，被聘为中华传统文化发展委员副主席。
2024年荣获“中华文化传承大使”又被聘任“世界非物质文化遗产研究院副院长”、“优秀书画导师”。被中央电视台授权为《中国书画艺术创作基地（湖北宜昌）》。中国文学艺术界授于周忠生荣誉称号《中国国宾礼特供艺术家》此外周忠生还荣获“共知国建设先进个人”、“德艺双馨艺术家”及楷模锦旗等。
2025年5月周忠生荣获“中国书画百年巨匠传承人”、“全国文化艺术模范人物·2025杰出艺术代表”荣誉。
Zhou Zhongsheng, a Chinese influential cultural figure, ambassador for the inheritance of Chinese culture, guest professor at CCTV, vice chairman of the Chinese Cultural Development Committee, and vice president of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute.
Zhou Zhongsheng was influenced by his father and started studying sculpture in elementary school. During the Cultural Revolution in college, he participated in the giant statue of Chairman Mao for three years under the guidance of teachers from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. After graduation, he was responsible for organizing the production of a simulation robot that won the first prize in the province. He later won the city trophy and the city sculpture expert certificate. His calligraphy and painting have been diligently studied, created, and achieved fruitful results under the guidance of many renowned teachers and professors. Zhou specializes in meticulous painting, calligraphy, and freehand brushwork depicting flowers, birds, mountains, and waters. He is skilled in painting tigers, golden monkeys, and silk monkeys; Writing in a thin and golden style, the works have been exhibited multiple times in Beijing and various provinces and cities. Zhou Zhongsheng's calligraphy and painting works were made into a personal album in the United States and distributed as American business cards. His achievements were included in the "World Celebrity List" and "World Excellent Expert Talent Dictionary", and he was appointed as the honorary editor in chief.
In 2015 and 2019, he was awarded the title of "People's Artist" by the National People's Congress and the CPPCC National Committee. Calligraphy and painting were selected for the "Great Ceremony of Chinese Artists in the Prosperous Era" edited by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and included in the "Hundred Years and Hundred Families" stamp album of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. His calligraphy and painting works have been made into the "Chinese Art Diplomacy Collection Edition National Gift Gold Book", which is a national intangible cultural heritage. He has also become the inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage project.
In 2022, Zhou Zhongsheng was awarded the honorary titles of "Chinese Meritorious Artist", "People's Calligrapher and Painter", and "International Art Master". The Commercial Culture Magazine published "Chinese Influential Cultural Figures", and Zhou Zhongsheng was one of the five.
In 2023, he was awarded the title of "Master of Chinese National Ritual Art", appointed as a guest professor by CCTV, and appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Chinese Traditional Culture Development Committee.
In 2024, he was awarded the title of "Ambassador for the Inheritance of Chinese Culture" and appointed as the "Vice President of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute" and "Outstanding Calligraphy and Painting Mentor". Authorized by CCTV as the "Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Creation Base (Yichang, Hubei)". Zhou Zhongsheng was awarded the honorary title of "Chinese Artist for State Guests" by the Chinese literary and art circles. In addition, Zhou Zhongsheng was also awarded the title of "exemplary individual in the Construction of a Common Knowledge Country", "Artist with Both Virtue and Skill", and a model banner.
In May 2025, Zhou Zhongsheng was honored with the titles of "Inheritor of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy for a Century" and "National Cultural and Artistic Model Figure · 2025 Outstanding Art Representative".
